Ceramic Liner for Funnel

Steel Funnel is one of necessary equipments in steel plant, power plant, cement factory, mining industry, etc, and it is quite easy to wear. If there are  abrasion resistant tiles to lined on the surface of the funnel, then, the its use-life will highly pro-longed and the cost will be effectively cut down.

Chemshun provided the wear solutions for Funnel by abrasion resistant tile . some are lined on the outside surface. It depends on the application of the working environments.

The Characteristics and Applications of Alumina Ceramic Liner with hole

图片
Alumina ceramic liner with hole , mainly composed of high-purity α-alumina (Al₂O₃) through high-temperature sintering, typically has an alumina content higher than 92%. This type of liner has a flat plate structure, with a through-hole on the surface. The hole diameter and spacing can be designed according to application requirements. Its performance characteristics include high hardness, excellent wear resistance, good chemical corrosion resistance, and outstanding high-temperature resistance, with a working temperature of up to 1600 degrees Celsius. Moreover, its structural design takes into account both lightweight and mechanical strength, making it convenient for installation and maintenance. In the industrial field, alumina ceramic liner with hole is widely used in material conveying systems, equipment protection, and ventilation and dust removal devices. For instance, in industries such as thermal power generation, cement production, and steel smelting, they are employed as inter...

How to reduce the production cost of alumina wear-resistant ceramics?

图片
The production cost of alumina wear-resistant ceramics is high. In order to reduce the production cost, the following aspects can be considered: I. Raw material selection 1. Select cost-effective raw materials: Under the premise of ensuring product quality, select alumina powder with relatively low price but satisfactory performance, such as industrial alumina or calcined alumina instead of high-purity alumina powder. At the same time, we can explore the use of a mixture of alumina and other ceramic materials to reduce costs through reasonable proportions. 2. Joint procurement of raw materials: Cooperate with multiple companies for joint procurement and use economies of scale to reduce procurement costs. II. Process optimization 1. Optimize the preparation process: Improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption and waste generation by improving the preparation process. For example, use advanced sintering technology and mold design to shorten sintering time and reduce energy ...

Characteristics and Applications of Alumina Ceramic Grinding Balls

图片
Alumina ceramic grinding balls are mainly made by high-temperature sintering of high-purity α -alumina. Their alumina content is usually above 90%, and some can reach over 99%. This material features high hardness, excellent wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Its density typically ranges from 3.6 to 3.9 g/cm ³ , and its Mohs hardness can reach up to 9. Due to its dense structure and high chemical inertness, it is unlikely to introduce impurities during the grinding process and can withstand strong mechanical shocks and thermal stresses. Alumina ceramic grinding balls are widely used in grinding processes in the fields of building materials, coatings, electronic materials, mining and chemical industries. In ball mills, they are used for grinding cement, mineral raw materials, ceramic glazes and magnetic materials, effectively enhancing grinding efficiency and reducing product contamination. In the ultrafine grinding of dyes and positive and negative el...
