Wear-resistant alumina ceramic liners are functional structural components sintered at high temperatures using high-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃ content typically ranging from 90% to over 99%). The manufacturing process often involves isostatic pressing and controlled sintering exceeding 1430°C to ensure a dense microstructure with micron-scale grain sizes. Due to its crystalline structure, the material exhibits high hardness, generally achieving a Rockwell hardness (HRA) of 85-90, second only to diamond.
